HOW we will ZOOM WORSHIP AND SOCIAL DISTANCE?

Sunday, March 29 at 11 AM

Pastor Todd  is inviting you to a scheduled ZOOM WORSHIP SERVICE.

Topic: March 29 Companionship Worship at 11 AM

Time: March 29, 2020 11:00 AM Central Time (US and Canada).

Meeting ID: 619 327 455

You can join this Zoom Worship from your internet browser on any smartphone, tablet, iPad, laptop or PC.

It is always best to DOWNLOAD the ZOOM APP on your device if possible.

(If you need help downloading the App, contact mountolivedallas@gmail.com or rev.mountolive@gmail.com and provide a telephone number at which our support person can contact you.)

You can also dial in by phone at one of the numbers below.

Please NOTE, this significantly limits your involvement in the worship experience. We cannot see you. You cannot see us. And it greatly reduces our ability to help if you run into difficulty. BUT. If this is your only option call one of these numbers:

  • +1 346 248 7799 US (Houston)

  • +1 253 215 8782 US

  • +1 301 715 8592 US

If this is your first Zoom Call, a few helpful tips:
  • HAVE FUN. While this is a new experience, you'll soon get the hang of it. And once you do, it is a FREEING EXPERIENCE!!

  • It is always best to DOWNLOAD the ZOOM APP on your device if possible.

  • CONTACT us the DAY BEFORE and ask questions (If you need help downloading the App, contact mountolivedallas@gmail.com or rev.mountolive@gmail.com and provide a telephone number at which our support person can contact you.)

  • LOG in EARLY. There will always be a Mount Olive Tech Support Person on the call by 10:45 AM. They can help you get comfortable.

  • HEADPHONES often help you hear (the quality of your device speakers varies greatly)

  • This is a COMPANIONSHIP WORSHIP. Discover ways to invite a COMPANION to worship with you!! (For example: There are ways to hook up to a large screen Smart TV or one that accepts an HDMI Cable. Your computer or laptop also would have to have an HDMI Cable port. But if you have a guests in your home, be sure to practice social distancing ;-)

  • Check in for MORE Details about This Sunday's worship experience at March 22, 2020 Worship

Who is Mt. Olive Lutheran Church?

We are a VEHICLE through which the GOSPEL is Spread

(In a time when we hear Anxious News all around us, we are a VEHICLE through which the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ is Spread)

During the next 6 Weeks we will:

Deliver CONFIDENCE, COMPASSION, and COMPANIONSHIP to a tremendously anxious COMMUNITY, remembering that God is our REFUGE & STRENGTH.

1) The Health of our Mt. Olive PEOPLE is VERY Important

  • If you Need Help getting Tested or Treated -- WE will find a way to HELP!!

  • Self-Quarantine in Groups of less than 10. Wash your Hands. Don't touch your Face. AND. Practice Social Distancing.

2) The Health of our Mt. Olive CONGREGATION is VERY Important

  • Join us EVERY WEEK in ZOOM WORSHIP

  • Get GOOD at ONLINE Communication

  • Meet with and CONNECT with Members and Friends on Facebook, Instagram, Text, E-mail, or even, old fashioned Phone Calls!!

  • GENEROSITY. Keep your TITHES current. This helps us better respond to the needs of our neighborhood during this Public Health Challenge.

3) This New Normal is a MARATHON not a Sprint

  • Let's HELP each other STAY HEALTHY in Heart, Mind, Soul, and Strength

  • Check in to Pastor Todd's Blog at https://bruningt.wixsite.com/companionship

4) EVERY WEEK each Mt. Olive Person will REACH OUT to Another Mt. Olive Person

  • We will set up a system so that you get a call from somebody every week

  • We will also ask you to contact one, two or three people every week, just to ask, "How can I pray for you?

5) We will find NEW WAYS to Reach Out to our Mt. Olive NEIGHBORS

  • We will post Volunteer Opportunities on the Blog Site

  • How can you SAFELY reach out to our Fair Park Neighbors ... or your own Neighbors?

6) Practice COMPANIONSHIP as much as Possible

  • Keep in CONTACT with each other; especially others you don't know well

  • Learn more about how to Connect SIDE-BY-SIDE

  • Help set up a CIRCLE of CARE for yourself ... your family ... your COMPANIONS
